Its BACK! Been using this with a vengeance. Really beating on this (both Desktop Win10 & IOS9) and its taking everything I can throw at it. No Nonsense, no stupid icons, no extra tapping to see transaction details, QIF import (really how can any developer not offer QIF import) Ive always been a big fan of the older Quicken app, and this is Quicken reborn! This is truly the cleanest financial app out of them all. Everything from the layout of the transaction view with the different shades of each transaction (like a regular paper check register) to the displaying of all fields such as the memos being visible. The way it should be. Entering new transactions view is awesome and easy. This is really how things should be viewed, I really hope someone would continue developing this app, at least just to keep it up and running maybe even giving us better graphs display ........ Oh yea! How can I forget the desktop app as well, what an awesome touch. We never use the sync servers service (never trust a third party server for reliability ) but this desktop sync works flawlessly every time.

After the original developer died, this app lost functionality as they tried to find someone to take it over. They have finally found someone and he is restoring this app to the best product possible!!! I use this everyday and have yet to find an app that comes close to it in terms of functionality and form.

The developer passed away years ago & left the app to his brother who was just apparently overwhelmed with the responsibility. The app, died & even left the App Store for a time. During that time each iOS update had me just waiting for the app to stop working but... Thankfully a new owner has emerged & Nick is doing a tremendous job in bringing the app back to life. This first update gave us the proper resolutions on new iOS devices & if you go to the forums you can keep up on what is being planned next. Kudos to Nick & it’s awesome to have an app that “just works” like your Apple Device does. Thanks Nick for resurrecting PocketMoney!

Why are you going backwards. Rolling calendars are now and always have been crap! Please putt back the full calendars. I wish now I had not done the upgrade. I have used Pocket Money for years and have found it absolutely the best financial app out there. Account transfers and split transactions make even complicated accounting matters a piece of cake. I have not been able to find any other accounting app that handles these properly. Pocket Money Sync has worked great, except for some bugs in syncing repeating transactions. (You should use one device to enter and change all repeating transactions.) I have had occasional crashes, but have never lost data. I would never want to be without Pocket Money!

The latest update changed how dates are selected for a new transaction. Instead of selecting from a calendar, a scrolling list comes up that 1) does not include days of the week and 2) is on the very bottom of the screen--very annoying on an iPad. Please return the date function to the calendar, or at least provide an option for it in settings.

I have been using PocketMoney for many years. It is the only product I have used that actually help me keep my finances on track by allowing me to see the impact spending now will have 3-4 months in the future. Repeating transactions are automatically placed in the register and you determine how far out you want to see. I have mine set to 105 days so I have a clear picture of what my finances will look like over the next 3 months. I use PocketMoney to reconcile more than 2 dozen bank, credit card and loan accounts. So impressed that I bought this product for my friends and employees. The only thing that would make PocketMoney any better is if it would connect to my banks and reconcile itself! Great product and well worth the money!
